January 8-11, 2007: The third international SIENA workshop took place in Groningen. Read more on the workshop pages.
January 16-20, 2006: The second international SIENA workshop took place in Groningen. Read more on the workshop pages.
Since January 2005, there is a StOCNET user group at Yahoo. For all your problems with SIENA and the other StOCNET modules, join the group and post your question: click here.
February 2005: Release 1.6 of the StOCNET software. It allows for running the most recent SIENA versions with behaviour and networks co-evolving from a user-friendly Windows-interface.
January 2005: The first international one-week SIENA workshop takes place in Groningen. With 38 participants from 9 countries, this became a lively, stimulating and memorable experience.
December 2004: Article Dynamic Networks and Behavior: Separating Selection from Influence (Steglich, Snijders & Pearson) is ready. It contains the first description of the co-evolution models developed in our research programme (see publications).
May 2004: we organized a Satellite Symposium preceding the XXIV Sunbelt Conference in Portorož, Slovenia. Take a look at the programme and view / download the various presentations.
February / November 2003: The first versions of SIENA that allow for the analysis of behavioural dimensions co-evolving with a network are developed.
